I just droped by after not being here for over 3 years. The page is looking great! I was finally able to get a buddy statement about the jeep wreak I had in Feburary 1973; but even though the VA now admits that the jeep wreak happned (before the buddy statement they said there was NO proof of the jeep accident); but my claim for disability still remains denied. I have several physical disabilities that the doctors say *may* have been caused by a tramadic injury over 30 years ago; but that they can not state for the record that they were caused by that jeep wreak. I reciently was told that it could also be what they are now calling TBI (Tramadic Brain Injury). I am no slackard; but I have not been able to work since 1987 and have been living off a small Social Security Disability check every since 1991. Any way, all this physical pain is starting to get the better of me, the VA did have me on 40Mg of Oxycotin 4 times a day until I *made* them take me off of it, they now have me taking 40Mg of Methadone 4 times a day for cronic pain managment, and yet they won't admit that the jeep wreak is what started it all, even though I have been i nmore and more pain as each year passes. I am almost house bound and can only walk or stand for very short perionds of time, sometimes I wonder what is the use.

I just found this Forum.

Hang in there, hope you're doing OK. I'm in similar shape, myself. I do a lot of sitting around followed by laying horizontal after the pain kicks up.

Same here, I have found that when your mussles start putting off so much heat from the pain that it can make your parter in bed uncomfterable that if you put baby oil on the places where it is getting hot that it makes it a tad better. It also helps to be in cool dark room when the pain kick up. I know that just before the pain starts to make me sick at my stomach and just prior to seeing the little fire flies before passing out that just about any sound can cause more pain and that going into a toatly dark and very cool room helps. I hope that you can use some of these suggestions
