I was the C.E SP/5 Rickey Von Vogel (shakey) SP/4 Charles Marion Lea did not lead all the survivor's to safety through Enemey held territory! His Silver-star was Downgraded to a Bronze!He did not make radio contact with Covy-Fact on the 2nd. of May it was the 6th! SP/4 Charles Marion Lea did an article for the VIETNAM MAG. a few year's ago his story is Highly inacurate! he has us only being M.I.A. 11 day's! WE were shot down 4/24/72-to5/6/72 count the day's? they add up to 13! Thought i would try you guy's out I have been bitching on Deaf ear's over at the original Gladiator website! to no-avail! Yes WO-1 Wade Ellen is still carried as K.I.A.-B.N.R. even though in 1993 i made the Defense Intelagence along with the J.c.r.g. due a dig they found human remain's with O.D green wool sock's but his mother refused to accept them as his? we burried SP/4 Zollicoffer in same grave but with NO-Sock's My A.C. !st Lt. Jame's Hunsicker is K.I.A.-B.N.R. one of our Pax's a !st Lt. Johnny Mac Jone's a fellow 57th Gladiator died same day same crash & i cant get the Gladiator website to add him to the memorial page either! he also was K.I.A.-B.N.R. I have bitched untill I am Blue in the face trying to straighten out our History it reflect's Pourley on Gladiator's as a whole!***** Shakey still Missing in America!
