Comment: | I want to thank the 57th for all the support they gave us in DakTo and Kontum during '67 and '68 and for evacuating me WIA in Nov. '67. I would like to find one of your pilots who later joined the Air Force and flew air sea rescue till the 1990's, can't remember his name but he took me to 71st. Med in Pleiku when I was hurt. You guys were the best.

Comment: | For those that may not know it, Cougar 44 passed away in June of this year. He is Rodney Enko, retired from Ft. Bliss. We lost track of each other for alot of years, but finally found him on the internet. He was the AC and one hell of a pilot. My wife and I made our trips to visit with him and spend a couple of weeks each visit. Like all of us, he aged alot the I would not have recognized him. Like me, alot of years, several pounds, balding on top. Compared to his jet black hair, thick black mustache. Still same voice. I love him like a brother and there isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of him.
